Check the surface
Moisture and condensation can affect adhesion and drying. Assess the surface and the conditions, not just the forecast. The selected coating’s technical information defines its application limits.
Plan by component
List the façades, doors and frames. Record visible damage and which parts are easy to reach. Overall photographs and close-ups make an initial discussion more useful. Allow time for preparation and drying between coats when considering the schedule.
Agree a fallback
Discuss what happens if the weather changes. Which parts can wait? Is any indoor work included as a separate part of the assignment? Record changes to the timing and scope together. Preparation avoids rushed decisions on a rainy working day.
Take this into your project
- Photograph the whole area and any damaged spots.
- Ask which product information accompanies the quote.
- Discuss the plan for unsuitable weather.
